Death at EDC Las Vegas -please share

death at EDC las vegas

In case you didn’t know Electric Daisy Carnival is a rave this now being held in Las Vegas with its most recent location in Dallas, TX where a teenager died from on overdose of ecstasy (MDMA). There are a ton of San Diego youth on there way out so I thought I’d just write this news update ahead of time in order to let you know what is going to be the headline of the newspapers come monday…

A _-year-old girl/boy has died of a suspected drug overdose after attending a Electric Daisy Carnival over the weekend at the Las Vegas Location.

The girl/or boy was one of many EDC attendees who were in critical condition at a Nevada Hospital. She and the other critically ill patient had been taken to the downtown Las Vegas hospital by ambulance directly from the venue, officials said. Patients were treated for drug intoxication in the intensive care unit.

“He/she came in as an emergency patient from the rave. She was in respiratory arrest when she got here and she never recovered,” said a spokeswoman for the hospital.

They came in and they were just dead.

If you are going to EDC the best thing for you to do is not do drugs, instantly your chance of death from drug overdose drops to zero.

If you do take Ecstasy think about these factors:

  • Currently Las Vegas is hot! 107 degrees to be exact

  • Ecstasy raises your body temperature

  • It also makes you dehydrated.

  • EDC is a massive, you could easily get disoriented lose your friends and wind up overdosing with little chance of an ambulance being able to reach you before you wind up dead.

Don’t forget what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas especially when your dead!

Be safe and responsible to everyone who’s going to EDC, it was a great time last year but there’s no need to come back in a casket.

Disclaimer: As of the time of this article no one has died at EDC Las Vegas…it hasn’t even started yet.
